Mrs Wardisiani

Welcome To The 2022-2023 School Year!

My name is Katie Wardisiani and I am the Gifted and Talented Program Coordinator. I am also the co-director for our After School Program (ASP). This year, I have taken on an additional role as Instructional Coach supporting our fantastic team of educators and paraprofessionals here at Clinton School. This will be my 12th year of teaching, and I am so glad to be a part of Clinton School and its community.

I am a graduate from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with Middle School endorsements in Mathematics, Language Arts and Social Sciences. I have my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education. In my first five years of teaching in Illinois, I taught both general and accelerated Math and Science curriculum for 8th grade students. I have experience as a Special Education paraprofessional and a Fine Arts teacher in the world of Music, Band, Choir, PE, Spanish and Art, both at Clinton School. I then taught 4th grade students in Missoula for two years, teaching all subjects. For the past three years, I have served as Clinton School's Title 1 Program Coordinator while also working as a GT Interventionist.

I am looking forward to working with and supporting your student this year. My passion as a teacher is to help students achieve a sense of personal growth and achievement in their learning. My personal goal is to help students develop a love for learning and to help them acquire good work and study habits for their future school years. I truly believe every student can succeed regardless of their learning style, level or capability. I plan on providing a supportive learning environment by teaching through as many learning activities, manipulatives and visuals as I can to help them be successful.

Communication is the key to great parent-teacher relationships, and it is very essential for your child's academic growth. Throughout this year, I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. Please feel free to email me any time. Otherwise, please call 406-825-3113 Ext. 250. Thank you in advance for your time and involvement in your student's education. Together, we can make a difference. Cheers to an amazing year!

Clinton School's GT Program Mission Statement:

We strive to engage and empower our gifted and talented students with continuous lifelong learning across all content areas. We are committed to providing a curriculum rich in depth & challenging in complexity through the use of research-based and data-driven strategic instruction. Through passionate and engaging leadership we will provide a unique learning experience in order to meet each student's needs and abilities, making sure to not only challenge and empower their social emotional needs, but also to set them up for academic success.

In my free time, I can be found cooking, tutoring, exploring Montana and its many hot springs, spending time with my husband Paul and my three stepsons, and chasing around our springer spaniels Allie and Sadie Mae while entertaining the cat king of our household, Chase.
