Mr. Rose

My name is Tim Rose, and I am excited and honored to introduce myself as Principal for the 2021-2022 school year!

I graduated from Carroll College in Helena, MT with a degree in Elementary Education, and started teaching in Clinton after graduating. In 2012 I received my Masters Degree in Educational Technology, and am currently finishing classes for school administration at the University of Montana.  I have spent the last 12 years at Clinton School, teaching four years of 3rd grade, seven years of 4th grade, and one year of 5th grade. I have also served as the Clinton School flag football coach, volleyball coach, track coach, and boys and girls basketball coach.

When I am not at Clinton School, I enjoy spending time and traveling with my wife, who is also in education, currently serving as a sixth grade math and science teacher. My wife and I are expecting our first child, a daughter, in late April.

I believe that in our school, decisions should be made with the best interest of our students in mind. I believe in putting kids first and meeting them where they are, academically and emotionally. I believe in communication and the power of positive relationships. They are the foundation of our school and our work together. We are not only a school, we are a community, and each and every member plays an important part to ensure success for every single student. Please don’t hesitate to always reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or even just to say hi. I am genuinely excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to continue my journey as a Clinton Cougar from a new avenue.
